This engagement session was everything you dream of when it comes to engagement photos in Chicago… North Avenue Beach, the skyline, that sunset glow, and a stunning couple in love! It truly doesn’t get any better!

I have filled my calendar the past few months with engagement sessions! We’ve been planning and taking all the engagement photos for 2025 couples. Meeting Maiya and Jake for the first time IRL and being asked to capture their engagement and wedding day feels like it was a “meant to be” situation! Through our conversations during booking and planning, Maiya, Jake, and I have quite a few mutual connections.

Maiya and Jake currently call Chicago home. For their engagement session, they wanted something a little different and wanted to skip photos in the heart of the city. I love that they wanted something different and unique to them. We decided on a beach session at North Avenue Beach, and it was PERFECT! We had the best sunset on the water, and they were just so easy being in front of the camera. A dream!!

Cannot wait for Maiya and Jake’s wedding next year at Geneva National in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin!
