Morton Arboretum Wedding Day || Kara & James

Kara and James tied the knot at Morton Arboretum on a hot summer day this year. This romantic summer wedding day at Morton Arboretum was one for the books!

These two are huge outdoorsy people so Morton Arboretum was a dream venue for them. Their relationship is centered around the great outdoors. This was evident as to why James proposed to Kara in the beautiful Banff National Park. Not only did they get engaged on a mountain top, but they also took their stunning engagement photos in Yosemite! I loved hearing the stories they shared during their engagement session with me in Chicago but also throughout their wedding ceremony. Although Illinois doesn’t have any grand national parks like those out west, these two chose the perfect venue to surround themselves with the beauty Illinois has to offer. I love that for them!

Morton Arboretum is one of my favorite venues here in the Chicago suburbs. Kara and James prioritized taking photos around the property on their wedding day. They also wanted to have an elegant reception for their guests. Their wedding day had all of that and more – truly the best of both worlds! They beautifully planned every detail of their day, making it so easy to document their love story.
