This year’s spring mini-sessions were a huge success! Thank you to all the clients who traveled in on May 4th (some from over an hour away!). For those who don’t know what “mini-sessions” are, here’s a quick rundown:

• Discounted, shorter sessions that happen on one day out of the season — typically, multiple sessions are booked on the same day
• Occur on a weekend date that I don’t offer any other time throughout the year
• Quick, easy, and stress-free sessions that are convenient for families with younger kids, someone who is looking to update old photos in their home, someone who needs an updated headshot, etc.

There were six sessions total, which were all shot indoors in a studio in the SW suburbs! I wanted to avoid weather mishaps and have full control of the setting. I love the look of a white backdrop with warm and neutral decor. Some say a studio session gives a timeless look to photos, and I’d have to agree!

I got to see past wedding clients and their new babies, capture headshots along with some “just because” portraits, and even take some Mother’s Day photos!
