Rachel & Tim McElroy || Mt. Zion, IL || Millikin University Fall Wedding

Oh, Tim & Rachel. How I adore these two and how easy they are to photograph! I was so eager to meet them back about a year ago for their engagement session. In the early stages of their planning I could tell how eager they were for their wedding. They had envisioned on a fun party with their closest friends and family celebrating their next chapter in life! These two share an incredible story and truly have an amazing outlook on love! I could tell they are passionate and care for one another so much. They truly were blessed with a beautiful outdoor ceremony for the time of year. We captured their “just married” portraits on Millikin’s campus, where they met and graduated from. It was my first time on Big Blue’s campus and I was blown away, I had a blast with these two and could’ve taken portraits all day!

One of my favorite parts about their day was that they incorporated a donation to a group called PawPrint Ministries, an organization that has comfort dogs that goes around the area of Decatur to help people in need of puppy love! Tim & Rachel have the sweetest adoption story of their two pups & to no surprise did they incorporate this on their wedding day. They donated all the money from their dollar dance to this organization, how cool!
