Oh, how I have missed blogging! The 2021 year was a hectic one with weddings, engagements, high school seniors & more! I took more on last year than I ever have in my 7 years of photography, which went a lot better than I anticipated! Since I am a one-man-band here, I had to take a step back on blogging just so I could keep an appropriate turnaround time for my client’s galleries! 

Since things have slowed down as we welcome winter in Illinois, I have set aside time to showcase some of the work I created this past year. I am picking up right where I left off with a fall senior session that was photographed right in the heart of Downtown Naperville! 

I love when high school seniors go all out with their outfits for their session, as you can see Kristen did an amazing job with! Kristen did a lot of her shopping at a small boutique back in Bourbonnais, IL. I loved that she was getting compliments from strangers as we were walking downtown Naperville! She didn’t miss a beat with a summer to fall transition look, and a bright moment with that blazer, obsessed! I encourage seniors to express themselves through their outfits and to not miss out on statement pieces, whether it’s a hat, jewelry, a blazer, or a cardigan… it’s easy to throw those pieces on and off to get a couple of different looks from one style!
