I am so excited to share Ashlee and Ben’s wedding day at Venue 5126 in Oswego! This was such a special celebration filled with love, laughter, and so many unforgettable moments.
Fun fact: I actually photographed Ben’s senior photos back in 2017! So you can imagine that getting to capture their wedding day all these years later was such an honor. I first met their family at their surprise engagement party in November 2024, which Ben’s mom invited me to photograph. After meeting everyone there, I couldn’t wait to see them again for the wedding day!
Ashlee and Ben’s story is so sweet. Ben proposed in New York City, and when they returned home, they surprised their closest friends and family with a celebration at a local venue. Talk about a memory for a lifetime!
Fast forward to their wedding day at Venue 5126 – it was just as thoughtfully planned and full of personality. The venue is tucked away and feels like a hidden gem in the Midwest, with many beautiful photo spots. My favorite spot was the flower garden that made for some magical golden hour portraits.
The morning of their wedding was full of excitement, and every detail throughout the day reflected Ashlee and Ben’s personalities and love for each other. From candid laughter to heartfelt moments, the day was a beautiful mix of emotion, fun, and celebration.
These two are huge country music lovers and spend a lot of time enjoying live music in Nashville, so they had a live singer and guitarist during cocktail hour. It was such a personal and special touch that added to the day’s relaxed, joyful vibe!
