My 30A Florida Bachelorette Trip!

Our wedding

April 25, 2023

My BACHELORETTE PARTY!! I can’t believe I haven’t shared my trip to 30A yet, and I am so excited to tell you the ins and outs of the most beautiful spot in Florida! My sister and best friend got to come along and I am so grateful for them throwing me an unforgettable trip! My 4 other bridesmaids were either underage or preggo so we made the trip cozy with the perfect amount of fun and relaxation, which is exactly what I dreamed of! After experiencing 30A and trying to plan a trip there, I feel as though the best way I can split up this post is by giving you our whole itinerary.

Let’s start with our arrival!

On Wednesday, we flew into Destin Airport from MDW and had an Uber waiting for us when we landed. We opted out of a rental even though Ubers are hard to come by in 30A. We had transportation with a golf cart from our Airbnb that we relied on. If you do get an Uber out of Destin Airport I recommend getting the driver’s phone #, most of the time they will do private drives for you if requested! Which our guy who picked us up so graciously dropped us off at the end of our trip. He is very reliable and James and I have used him since! If you’d like his number reach out to me and I’ll share it! We arrived later morning at our Airbnb which was at the Prominence on 30A Watersound, FL. We thought this was the best spot as it was in the middle of 30A, and super accessible to everywhere we wanted to go during our stay (super easy to search on Airbnb/VRBO). The grounds included The Big Chill, a pool, a workout area, and a golf cart! Truthfully the weather was not great when we arrived so we chose to walk around the big chill, shop, and grab a bite to eat. That night we went out to eat at Georges in Alys Beach. 10000/10 recommend it, this was my favorite meal of the whole trip! After Georges, we walked over to NEAT for a glass, then ended our night at the Citizen. I really want to go back to Alys Beach during the day, this is the most photographable beach town and try more of their resturants!

On Thursday, let me just say, the wine got the best of me the night before, but don’t worry, 30A HAS AN IV BAR! Thank goodness or I would’ve been down and out for the rest of the trip! Might be pricey but so worth it if you get horrid hangovers like me.  After nursing my hangover we headed out for the famous Pearl Hotel in Rosemary Beach! FYI this town is not accessible for golf carts, you will have to plan a driver! This Bach trip was all about relaxation so we got to enjoy some pool time at the hotel and then we got massages, oh so incredible! We had lunch and bubbly by the pool until we needed to head out to get ready for dinner! We got dressed up and made our way back to Rosemary Beach for photos, site seeing at the beach, and dinner at Edwards. We weren’t able to get a reservation for dinner at Pescado (which is a must for the views) so we went up after dinner hours and had a drink on the rooftop before calling it a night!

We got up Friday morning and took the golf cart to Seaside! Arguably the CUTEST beach town I have ever seen. We had breakfast at the Great Southern Café where we had the most delicious meal and mimosas. After brunch I recommend stopping next door to grab another mimosa at the Modica Market, they make them FRESH, to go in a 32oz cup! Great to sip on as you walk around the boujee beach stores! Before we left we had to go into Bud & Alley’s for just one more! The best views of Seaside and such yummy drinks/food! Once the afternoon rolled around we went to a public beach for the day and got our tans on! We weren’t sure where to go for this and the spot we went to wasn’t bad, but if you want the best beach of 30A I recommend heading down to a beach in Santa Rosa. Gulf View Height’s is a great one to put in your GPS! There are beach rentals on-site that you can call ahead so they are set up for the entire day when you get there. This day was supposed to be our beach bonfire but unfortunately, we got canceled due to too high of winds! I was super bummed but we made up for it with a great dinner that night at the Old Florida Fish House, the best sushi in town! I recommend looking up their entertainment when you arrive, we got super lucky and got the front row the night we went to dueling pianos! It was seriously a blast!!

A few other spots I recommend that I went to on a different trip to 30A,

  • Shunk Gully (near Gulf View Height’s beach access)
  • Blue Mountain Beach Creamery
  • AJ’s bar in Grayton Beach – this place is a great time when they have live bands!

Seriously counting down the days we are back vacationing in 30A! It was the best time!
