Grace & Gavin || CD & Me || Frankfort, IL

The wait was finally over for Grace & Gavin this past weekend at CD & Me in Frankfort! Gracie was one of my first brides to reach out for a 2020 date & I remember vividly sitting in my dorm room chatting on the phone planning out her & Gavin’s day. I have known of Grace for a while as her mom was my media teacher in high school, and our families grew up together in Manteno! Throughout the planning it’s been wonderful getting to know her and Gavin as a couple. We captured their engagement session last summer in the city of Chicago and I knew after then that they would make my job so easy the day of!

Shortly after covid hit Grace and Gavin had to come to the difficult decision to reschedule their wedding. Thankfully they were able to make it happen within the same year & same season! Their wedding day was the absolute best and I’m so glad they were able to make it happen, safely, for their family and friends to be there. After spending the day with their wedding party you can tell they are truly surrounded by a strong & loving support system. We ended the night with a bubble exit which was a first for me! I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure how well it was going to photograph at night but wow! Those final images are my new favorite! 🙂
