Dana & Tevan McIntire || Littleton, Colorado Wedding || The Manor House

Destination Wedding, Wedding

July 13, 2019

Where to even begin…this wedding was one that will be so special to me for years to come. It was my first ever destination wedding in the state of Colorado! When Dana reached out to me in the winter, her and Tevan were new to the Kankakee County area and were looking for someone to photograph their engagement photos. I was quick to learn that they would be getting married in the summer in Colorado. I was jumping through the roof when I found out they learned about me on google, and that they were still in need of someone to photograph their wedding. Needless to say, I was quick to send them all of my information and waited anxiously to hear back!

Dana & I met right after Christmas to go over all of the details, I was new to this destination part of the wedding planning, so with that being said I was so gracious for their patience with me while everything was being figured out. Soon enough we booked and the engagement photos were being planned right away for the spring. The engagement session was my first time meeting Tevan, and those two together are incredible. We had a blast during their session and it is still one of my favorites. After I got to see these two together, I knew they were the most perfect couple to be photographed out in Colorado.

It’s easy to say I had dreamt about this day for WEEKS. I was so excited to be in the mountains for the VERY FIRST time! I was blessed beyond words to be accompanied by my dearest cousin who assisted me throughout the trip. ( I will be posting a personal blog very soon!)

Dana & Tevan’s wedding was so special and unique for them. It was a morning wedding, so we started at 7am, and ended by 2pm. We started in the beautiful bridal suite, where Dana and her girls got ready, which then followed by a first look.  It was an incredible moment. The land itself that the venue sat on was breathtaking with the unique mountain views, but if you look closely at their ceremony pictures, you can actually see Denver right behind them! What a view! As well, the arch that was displayed on their alter was made by Dana & Tevan! The day ran seamlessly with no rain and so many great memories shared!

What an incredible journey this wedding was and I can’t wait to hopefully be back to photograph more weddings in these beautiful mountains!
