Oh how happy I am to be sharing this blog ( as always)! I can remember the day so perfectly when I got asked to photograph Stacy & Ken’s wedding, I was sitting in my dorm my freshmen year and I jumped up with excitement when I got a text from Stacy. I called my mom immediately to share exciting news! Stacy’s daughter, Morgan is my best friend from high school. We cheered together my freshmen year and ever since then we have been apart of each others lives, no matter the distance. I got to know Morgans family really well as I was always at their house. Stacy shortly became like a second mom to me!
Stacy & Ken’s wedding day was absolutely perfect, they couldn’t have asked for better weather or a better turn out. Everything was smooth sailing and a day filled with tons of joy! The theme was 1920’s and they couldn’t have done it in a more classier style.
Stacy and Ken’s smile didn’t leave their face all day! It made it so easy to capture the candid moments and of course the posed ones too – which by the way, they were complete rockstars as they remembered every pose from the engagement session and even started to do their own thing while in front of the camera!! That makes for the best photos.
It was so sweet to see the two families come together as one. It was truly a special day and the energy and love was contagious between the both of them. Everything from the decorations to the attire to the over all ambiance, it was all done in a 1920’s fashion!
Congratulations Stacy & Ken, I am so glad I got to share this day with you and capture these amazing memories that you will never forget!
Stacy’s dress and Ken’s suit, oh my goodness!! SO unique and SO beautiful, I am still ranting and raving over it!!!
This dance was AMAZING!
