How thrilling it is for me as an artist when a couple asks me to capture all of life’s big happenings at once. Nikki & Erik just bought their first home AND got engaged this year AND they’re getting married on NYE – talk about making the most of every day! Nikki and I have known each other for years (ever since our high school days, s/o to her sista) so I was overjoyed when her bf Erik asked me to shoot their early spring proposal on the Naperville Riverwalk. When the pair asked me to photograph a cozy engagement shoot in their new home, I was immediately inspired. The freedom to move around their house and capture the couple in their most comfortable, loving moments is something I’ll cherish forever!
